This two-day cultural program combines Borobudur and Mendut temples with the royal and cultural heritage of Yogyakarta. You will explore ancient Buddhist monuments, the Sultan's palace, a traditional market, Taman Sari, and Prambanan before departing from Yogyakarta.
Activities
Upon arrival at Yogyakarta International Airport, you will meet your guide and transfer to Borobudur Temple. The monument was built during the 8th-9th century under the Syailendra dynasty and is known for its terraces, relief panels, and Buddhist stupas.
The journey continues to nearby Mendut Temple, a 9th-century Buddhist temple featuring a large Buddha statue. The visit adds another perspective to the Buddhist heritage of the region.
After lunch at a local restaurant, you wil continue to the hotel for check-in and overnight accommodation.

Activities:
After breakfast, the tour explores the cultural center of Yogyakarta, beginning with Kraton Yogyakarta, the royal palace and an important center of Javanese tradition. A traditional market follows, providing an opportunity to observe local trade and daily life.
The journey continues to Taman Sari, an 18th-century royal water complex historically associated with the Sultan and his family. The program then proceeds to Prambanan, a 9th-century Hindu temple complex dedicated to the Trimurti.
Lunch is served at a local restaurant before the transfer to Yogyakarta International Airport for the onward flight.
