Terms & Conditions
Tour Reservation Policy
The participant(s) or their corporate representative acknowledge receiving and agreeing to these terms and conditions as set forth below covering the travel services to be operated by NTT DMC (PT. FLORES KOMODO TOURS), based in Indonesia. If you make payments after receiving this document, it is officially assumed that you or your representative have expressed full approval of these terms.
1. Booking & Confirmation
All reservations and tour bookings will be officially processed and secured once confirmed via email.
Should you make any modifications to your personal data or flight schedules, you are fully responsible for informing us immediately via email.
2. Payment Method & Policy
All services must be prepaid to ensure secure on-ground operational execution.
Deposit: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required via wire transfer to secure and confirm your booking.
Final Payment: The remaining 50% balance must be paid at least 14 days before starting the tours or booking your hotels.
Note: NTT DMC does not charge any down payment to the users unless specifically required and regulated by third-party hotels.
3. Cancellation Policy
Your right to refunds if you change or cancel your reservation is strictly limited. The following per-person cancellation fees apply based on your traveling date:
a. 90 – 61 days prior to traveling: 35% of the total amount.
b. 60 – 46 days prior to traveling: 50% of the total amount.
c. 45 – 0 days prior to traveling: 100% of the total amount (Non-refundable).
d. No-Show: 100% Non-refundable.
e. Unused Services: No refunds or alternatives will be given for fully or partially unused travel services, hotel stays, or transport.
4. Emergencies & Natural Disasters
Medical Emergency (e.g., Illness/COVID-19): In situations where a guest tests positive for an illness right before arrival, the travel date can be rescheduled, provided the guest submits an official letter from a doctor, clinic, or hospital.
Natural Disasters: For unexpected events or natural disasters, NTT DMC will discuss with the client openly to find a fair, win-win solution.
5. Official Banking Information
All wire transfers must be sent to our official corporate account below:
Bank Name: BANK MANDIRI Tbk.
Account Name: PT. FLORES KOMODO TOURS.
(Please insert your Account Number & SWIFT Code here for client reference).
6. Traveler’s Documents & Documentation
Each visitor to Indonesia must acquire a relevant visa to enter the country and must hold a passport with at least 6 months of validity beyond the designated date of departure.
Visitors must also confirm they have a valid return or onward flight ticket.
NTT DMC assumes no responsibility for entry issues or boarding denials caused by incorrect or incomplete travel documentation.
7. Airplane Tickets & Air Transportation
For booking flight tickets through us, all rules, restrictions, and penalties regarding name changes, date modifications, or cancellations strictly follow the policy of the airline being used.
8. Digital Safety & Liability
NTT DMC corporate devices are equipped with secure anti-virus software.
NTT DMC shall hold no responsibility and shall not be liable for any digital damages or computer viruses contracted during email or data transmissions between the users and our network.
9. Indemnification
NTT DMC and the users (or booking agents) agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless each other from and against any claims, demands, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal and court fees) arising from the misuse of website materials, software, violation of this agreement, or inaccuracy regarding the availability or quality of products provided by third parties.
10. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be held liable for failure to perform contractual duties due to unavoidable events beyond control. This includes war, civil unrest, strikes, terrorism, natural or industrial disasters, governmental regulations, communication/utility failures, material shortages, or sudden airline schedule amendments.
11. Third-Party Terms & Additional Conditions
NTT DMC acts as an agent for local service providers (hotels, boats, local transport) that may have their own separate terms and conditions. Therefore, additional terms shall be applicable whenever necessary, and the client agrees to bear such external terms.
12. Law of Agreement & Governing Law
If any legal action, dispute, or intercession should arise related to the agreement regulated here, it must comply strictly with and be governed by the Law of The Republic of Indonesia.
WHAT TO BRING
(Traveler Guidelines for East Nusa Tenggara)
To ensure a comfortable journey across East Nusa Tenggara (including Flores Island, Komodo National Park, Sumba Island, Alor Island, Lembata Island, Rote Island, and Timor), we recommend packing the following items:
Clothing & Footwear
1. Light, breathable clothing (preferably cotton).
2. At least one long-sleeved shirt and long pants.
3. A light sweater or jacket (as temperatures can get cool in the highlands).
4. Swimwear and a beach towel. (Note: We provide towels on our boats for the Komodo Liveaboard Package and in all hotels during the trip, but you may bring your own).
5. Sandals/thongs, and sneakers or walking boots for trekking.
Gear & Electronics
1. Camera with a charger, spare batteries, and extra memory cards.
2. Sunglasses and a sunhat.
Health & Protection
1. Sunscreen / Sunblock.
2. Insect repellent or anti-mosquito lotion.
3. Personal Medication:
We provide a basic First Aid Kit on-ground. However, if a traveler has a disease or medical condition that requires specific, personalized medicine, please ensure they carry their own supply.
Snorkeling Gear
Mask, snorkel, and fin sets. (Note: We provide these sets in Labuan Bajo, but you are welcome to bring your own for a personalized fit).
