Lombok Island is separated by the Lombok strait from Bali Island in the west and by Alas strait in the east from Sumbawa Island. The Sasak people are the dominant ethnic group living in this island, which also consist of 5 regions: North Lombok, Central Lombok, East Lombok, West Lombok and Mataram city, the capital of West Nusa Tenggara.
North Lombok is where you can embark on the great hike to Mount Rinjani and linger until the sunset at Gili’s beautiful beaches. Mount Rinjani is one of the highest volcano in Indonesia, with its summit rising to 3,726 meters above sea level. The Segara Anak Crater Lake located on top of the volcano, is one of the scenic view you should stop by and marvel at!
Arriving at Lombok International Airport you will be greeted by our local team. From Lombok International Airport we willtake you to Sade village. In Sade village you will be invited to get to know Lombok and the Sasak tribe more closely. Seeingthe life of the people, seeing firsthand the process of making woven cloth typical of the Sasak tribe and other handicrafts.Also seeing and getting to know the architecture of the Sasak traditional house which uses bamboo and reeds as its roofand also interesting the floor is made of buffalo dung. Satisfied with getting to know Lombok and the Sasak tribe in Sadevillage, we will take you to one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Lombok, Benang Kelambu waterfall. Here you will feelthe coolness of the Waterfall which resembles a thin curtain that stretches between the shady leaves. Then we will takeyou for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch we will continue the journey to the next destination, namely NarmadaPark. This 2-hectare park was first built by the King of Mataram Lombok, Anak Agung Ngurah Karangasem in 1727, as analternative place for the Pakelem ceremony which is held every fifth full moon in the season of the Caka year. Besidesbeing a place for ceremonies when the dry season arrives. Narmada Park is also a replica of Mount Rinjani. Next we willcheck in to your hotel for take a rest. Dinner will be provide in local restaurant. Welcome to Lombok Island.
After finish your breakfast we will continue our trip to Sembalun village. The village under the Mount Rinjani which has anatural panorama with rows of hills and stretches of rice fields neatly arranged with fresh air. Starting from the MangkuSakti Waterfall, which has a unique turquoise blue water due to the mixing of sulfur water that comes from MountRinjani. Then head to Bukit Selong, here your eyes will be spoiled with views of rice fields and beautiful stretches of hills.After that, we will visit the Beleq traditional house which is just below Selong hill.
It is said that this traditional house is atraditional house built by 7 people who still survived the threat of a terrible eruption of Mount Samalas. Lunch at localrestaurant in Sembalun. After lunch we will enjoy the sensation of picking and eating as much as strawberries in Sembalun while enjoying the beautiful rice fields of Sembalun. We end the day by enjoying the Pusuk Sembalun area here we can enjoy the Sembalun landscape from the hills, Mount Rinjani rice fields. Next we will check in to your hotel for take a rest. Dinner will be provide in local restaurant.
After breakfast our team will take you to shop for buy some of Lombok ethnic souvenirs. Next we will visit the Islamic Center which is the grandest mosque on Lombok Island which is nicknamed “The Island of a Thousand Mosques” and then have lunch at a local restaurant.
