Lombok Island is separated by the Lombok strait from Bali Island in the west and by Alas strait in the east from Sumbawa Island. The Sasak people are the dominant ethnic group living in this island, which also consist of 5 regions: North Lombok, Central Lombok, East Lombok, West Lombok and Mataram city, the capital of West Nusa Tenggara.
North Lombok is where you can embark on the great hike to Mount Rinjani and linger until the sunset at Gili’s beautiful beaches. Mount Rinjani is one of the highest volcano in Indonesia, with its summit rising to 3,726 meters above sea level. The Segara Anak Crater Lake located on top of the volcano, is one of the scenic view you should stop by and marvel at!
Arriving at Lombok International Airport you will be greeted by our local team. From Lombok International Airport we willtake you to Sade village. In Sade village you will be invited to get to know Lombok and the Sasak tribe more closely. Seeingthe life of the people, seeing firsthand the process of making woven cloth typical of the Sasak tribe and other handicrafts,also seeing and getting to know the architecture of the Sasak traditional house which uses bamboo and reeds as its roofand also interesting the floor is made of buffalo dung. Satisfied with getting to know Lombok and the Sasak tribe in Sadevillage, we will take you for lunch at a local restaurant in Lombok. Then we will head to the Setokel Benang waterfall andKelambu thread. Where in these two waterfalls we will spend time to enjoy the natural beauty of this destination then wehead to the Kembang Kuning tourist village to spend the night and rest. Dinner will be provided in the village of KembangKuning. Welcome to Lombok Island.
After finish your breakfast our team will pick up you for visit the waterfalls in the Kembang Kuning tourist village. Startingfrom the Sarang Swallow waterfall and ending with the Black Monkey Forest then we will go to the restaurant for lunch.After lunch we will go to the tourist village of Bonjeruk to see the unique customs and activities of the local community. Youwill also tour the tourist village of Bonjeruk using cidomo. We will enjoy the afternoon with a cup of coffee from Bonjerukvillage. Next you will have dinner with typical food from Bonjeruk village. After that we continue our journey to our hotellocated in Senggigi for check in and take a rest.
After finish your breakfast we will go to Sindang Gile and Tiu kelep Waterfalls in Senaru Village. To go to Sindang GileWaterfall we will go down the stairs through a dense forest complete with animals such as long-tailed monkeys and if luckywe can meet Pitu (Black Monkey). Not far from Sindang Gile waterfall, you can enjoy the fresh water of Tiu Kelep Waterfall.Lunch at local restaurant. After that we will continue our journey to the Bayan Beleq Ancient Mosque, which is a mosquethat is hundreds of years old and has never been renovated at all from the architecture and pillars of the building. Next, wego to the Mangku Sakti waterfall, enjoy the Mangku Sakti Waterfall, which has a unique turquoise water due to the mixingof sulfur water that comes from Mount Rinjani. Dinner at a local restaurant, then check in to our hotel for take a rest.
After breakfast our team will take you to shop for buy some of Lombok ethnic souvenirs. Next we will visit the Islamic Center which is the grandest mosque on Lombok Island which is nicknamed “The Island of a Thousand Mosques” and then have lunch at a local restaurant.
