Mount Inierie is the largest volcano on Flores Island. If you see this mountain from a distance, its shape really resembles a pyramid with a perfectly pointed peak and is majestic to look at. The starting point of the climb is Watumeze Village which is at an altitude of 900 meters above sea level, that means you have to climb about 1,300 meters above sea level, time to climb is around 02.00 am so you can see the sunrise from the top of the mountain. Well, the big obstacle is the fairly difficult path. Yup, this mountain climbing path is dominated by gravel and volcanic rocks up to the peak. With this contour, it is difficult to step on, especially when it rains, the road becomes slippery beyond belief.

In the afternoon, you will have a relaxing time at Malanage hot-spring. Here, in a pretty forest grove at the confluence of a hot and a cold river, a series of shallow, babbling pools provide the perfect place to relax and let the warm water melt away whatever aches your trekking and sightseeing around Bajawa has left you with.
