Upon arriving at Wamena Airport, we will transfer you directly to your hotel for check-in and room allocation. Take this time to relax, unpack, and adapt to the refreshing mountain climate of the Papua highlands.
The remainder of the afternoon is free for you to explore the local town at your own pace. Please keep in mind that highland temperatures drop comfortably cool in the evening, so we recommend having a warm sweater ready for the night.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will set off on a scenic drive toward Tanah Merah, where our gentle trekking journey through lush pine groves and natural river passages begins.
Our walk brings us to Suroba Village, offering an inspiring opportunity to meet the local Dani villagers, step inside their traditional home compounds (honai), and observe their daily agricultural routines in the sweet potato gardens.
In the afternoon, we will drive back to town to visit the colorful Wamena local market-where Dani women gather to sell fresh highland produce-before ending our day with panoramic valley views from Napua Hill.

Today offers an extraordinary cultural highlight as we take a short 40-minute drive to Jiwika Village in the Northern Baliem Valley, followed by a pleasant 10-minute walk into the village center.
We will gather to witness the captivating Dani cultural ceremonies, featuring an energetic mock war performance and the iconic Pig Feast cooked over hot river stones with fresh mountain vegetables.
After enjoying lunch and browsing handmade crafts displayed by local artisans, we will spend our afternoon exploring the magnificent limestone formations of Kontilola Cave and nearby organic coffee gardens.

Please put on your comfortable walking shoes as we head south today to explore the rugged beauty and terraced landscapes of the Southern Baliem Valley.
Our trek takes us along charming mountain trails and sweet potato fields, where our guide will adjust the walking pace according to your group's comfort while interacting with locals heading to market.
We will enjoy our boxed lunch amidst panoramic highland surroundings before trekking back to our vehicle and returning to the hotel for a well-deserved dinner.
