Welcome to East Flores! Upon your arrival at Larantuka Airport via Kupang, you will be warmly greeted by our local guide and driver. We will begin your journey right away with an enriching cultural excursion to the famous Ileamandiri Weavers Group.
Here, you will witness the intricate art of traditional hand-weaving and learn about authentic local textiles such as Kewateks, Senai, and Nowing. You will also enjoy a welcoming traditional Lamaholot dance performance that showcases the vibrant heritage of the region.
After this mesmerizing cultural immersion, we will transfer you to your hotel in Larantuka town. Check in to your room, unwind, and enjoy a delicious welcome dinner at the hotel restaurant before resting for the night.

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel before checking out. We will transfer you to Larantuka Harbour to board a fastboat for a scenic sea journey across to Lembata Island, taking in the stunning views of surrounding volcanic islands.
Upon arrival in Lembata, we drive directly to Waienga Bay and check into the charming Nuhanera Bamboo Lodge situated right on the beach. This comfortable eco-friendly lodging offers an authentic island atmosphere surrounded by natural beauty.
Spend your afternoon having lunch, relaxing on the quiet beach, or diving and snorkeling in the vibrant waters of Waienga Bay. Conclude the evening with a delicious local dinner by the sea and a restful night.

Start your morning with breakfast at the lodge, followed by marine exploration or snorkeling around the clear coastal waters of Ileape. Return to the lodge for a refreshing lunch and prepare your gear for an exciting afternoon mountain trek.
After lunch, we will visit the historic ancient village of Lewohala and the nearby traditional village of Jontona. Learn about the unique ancestral customs, traditional stone architecture, and local heritage preserved by the villagers for generations.
In the late afternoon, begin your guided trek up the slopes of the impressive Ile Ape Volcano. We will set up camp mid-way up the volcano, where you can admire a breathtaking sunset, enjoy a warm camp dinner, and sleep under the star-lit sky

We will then travel southward across Lembata Island to reach the famous coastal village of Lamalera(Whale Village), world-renowned for its traditional seafaring heritage. The drive offers scenic vistas of Lembata’s rugged volcanic landscapes and coastal valleys.
Upon arriving in Lamalera, spend a relaxing afternoon strolling along the black sand beach and observing traditional wooden boats. Enjoy a warm home-cooked dinner in the village and rest well for the night.

After breakfast, join local fishermen out at sea to experience traditional Indonesian fishing methods passed down through centuries. This immersive activity offers a fascinating look into the daily life and ocean bravery of the local seafaring community.
Return to shore for a delicious seafood lunch and brief rest. In the afternoon, we bid farewell to Lamalera and take a comfortable drive back to Lewoleba town, the main hub of Lembata Island.
