Activities
Guests are welcomed upon arrival at Minangkabau International Airport by our guide. The journey begins toward Padang Panjang with a stop at the refreshing Anai Valley Waterfall.
After a traditional Minangkabau lunch, guests visit the Minangkabau Cultural Documentation & Information Center (PDIKM) to discover local history and architecture. The afternoon continues with a visit to Pandai Sikek Village, famous for its hand-woven Songket fabrics and detailed woodcarvings.
Arriving in Bukittinggi, guests take a photo stop at the landmark Jam Gadang clock tower before enjoying dinner and checking into their hotel.


Activities
Following breakfast, guests embark on a scenic morning excursion to Payakumbuh to admire the famous Kelok 9 Flyover, an impressive architectural bridge winding through lush mountain forest. The tour then proceeds into the valley of Harau to enjoy its dramatic rock cliffs and rice fields.
After lunch, the group travels to Batusangkar to explore the majestic Istano Basa Pagaruyung. Guests can learn about traditional Minangkabau matriarchal customs, royal artifacts, and architectural heritage.
You will return to Bukittinggi in the late afternoon for dinner and an evening at leisure to explore Bukittinggi’s night markets.


Activities:
After hotel check-out, guests enjoy a city tour of Bukittinggi visiting the Sianok Canyon lookout, the historical Japanese Tunnel system, and the scenic Koto Gadang Great Wall.
The tour then ascends to Lawang Park, located high above Lake Maninjau, offering panoramic views of the volcanic lake below. After lunch, guests travel down toward the lakeside, passing through scenic hill curves and stopping at the birth house museum of the famed scholar Buya Hamka.
In the evening, guests enjoy a relaxing dinner before checking into their hotel for a restful night.


Activities:
After breakfast and check-out, the journey heads south toward Solok, driving along the peaceful shores of Lake Singkarak with a stop at Ombilin Market to buy famous local Bilih fish snacks.
After lunch, guests arrive at the cool highlands of Solok to view the serene Twin Lakes (Danau Diatas and Danau Dibawah) and explore the expansive green tea plantations.
In the late afternoon, you will drive down toward the coastal capital of Padang. Upon arrival, guests enjoy a dinner at a local seaside restaurant before checking into your hotel.


Activities:
On the final day, you will check out after breakfast for a morning city tour of Padang. The tour includes visits to the historic Siti Nurbaya Bridge, the old Pondok Chinatown district, Melati Park Museum, and a stroll along Padang Beach.
You will have time for last-minute souvenir shopping to pick up authentic West Sumatran snacks and handicrafts.
The tour concludes with a transfer to Minangkabau International Airport for your departure flight, ending an enriching 5-day journey through West Sumatra.
