This 4-day adventure program combines marine exploration, active outdoor pursuits, and highland sightseeing across North Sulawesi. Operating from Manado, the program features coral reef snorkeling at Bunaken National Marine Park, a white-water rafting trip down the Nimanga River, and visits to the highland communities of Tomohon and Lake Linow. This itinerary provides complete ground handling, guided excursions, equipment, and selected hotel accommodations.
Activities:
Upon arrival at Sam Ratulangi International Airport in Manado, you will be greeted by the local guide and driver for the start of the program. The guide assists with luggage handling and provides an initial overview of the upcoming adventure itinerary.
You are transferred directly to a local restaurant in Manado to enjoy a welcome dinner. This initial meal provides an introduction to the traditional culinary flavors of North Sulawesi following the arrival flight.
After dinner, the vehicle transfers You to their selected hotel for check-in procedures. You will have the remainder of the evening at leisure to settle into their accommodations and rest before the morning activities.
Activities:
The morning begins with breakfast at the hotel before departing for Manado Bay. You will board a motorized canoe for a 45-minute boat journey across the bay to Bunaken Island, located within the protected Bunaken National Marine Park.
Upon arrival, you are provided with snorkeling equipment to explore the marine environment. The reef slopes surrounding Bunaken support diverse coral formations and numerous species of tropical fish, offering optimal conditions for underwater observation. Lunch is served at a local venue on the island.
In the afternoon, the boat returns to the Manado mainland. On the way back to the hotel, the group stops at a North Sulawesi souvenir and handicraft center for local shopping. The day concludes with dinner at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel for free time.
Activities:
Following breakfast, the tour heads into the cool highlands of Minahasa, stopping first at the Tinoor viewpoint to look out over Manado city. The journey continues to the traditional market in Tomohon, where local vendors sell fresh produce alongside traditional Minahasan items.
The route then proceeds to Woloan Village to see the local industry of prefabricated Minahasan wooden stilt houses, followed by a visit to the sulfuric waters of Lake Linow in Lahendong. Lunch is served at a local restaurant before preparing for the afternoon outdoor excursion.
In the afternoon, you will transfer to Timbukar Village to begin a whitewater rafting trip down the Nimanga River, navigating rapids and natural scenery until reaching the finish point in Tangkunei. After changing into dry clothes, the group is transferred back to Manado for dinner at a local restaurant and overnight rest.
Activities:
After breakfast and hotel check-out, You begin a city tour highlighting Manado's major cultural and civic landmarks. The route passes through historic Chinatown, Bumi Beringin, the North Sulawesi Governor's Office, and Citraland, home to the Amaze Tower and its large Jesus Blessing Statue.
The tour continues to Makatete Hill in Warembungan, situated on an elevated ridge. From this vantage point, you can view the panorama of Manado City, the Celebes Sea, Mount Klabat, and the offshore islands including Bunaken, Siladen, and Manado Tua.
Lunch is served at a local restaurant, followed by allocated free time for final souvenir and gift shopping. You are then transferred directly to Sam Ratulangi International Airport for the onward departure flight.
